Another Sunny Day

It was another sunny day in Prescott yesterday, reaching upwards of 93 degrees. Despite the heat, girls kept hydrated and powered through a day of fun-filled programs. Girls in the Archer and her Arrow session got a visit from Esmeralda, the Master Archer, who presented the campers with their own bows. Campers in Apache got to make their own first aid kits using pot holders, and Navajo girls split up to either make body glitter or work on team building through fun and challenging low ropes initiatives. Girls in the Hidden unit also split up and either learned more about the history of Girl Scouts or made their own ceramic heads with Bambi, our ceramics instructor. The Cocopah girls continued learning a dance routine to the tune of "Do You Believe in Magic?" while Hualapai went on a hike and learned to camouflage themselves in the outdoors. The day ended with human battleship, a pirate hunt, and the creation of a Willow Springs pirate flag. You can check out the photos from the day below!
